These terms apply to purchases from The House of Coins. By placing an order, you agree to them.

Who we are

The House of Coins is a small, family-run coin shop based in Australia. You can reach us at Sales@thehouseofcoins.com.au.

Prices and payment

• All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD).
• Bullion and precious-metal coins are priced to the live gold and silver market and can change at any time. The price shown at checkout is the price that applies to your order.
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We accept the cards Stripe supports.
• If we ever become registered for GST, any GST will be shown at checkout.

Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted when we confirm and dispatch it. Occasionally we may need to cancel an order — for example if an item has sold out or there's an obvious pricing error — in which case we'll contact you and refund you in full.

Stock and descriptions

We photograph and describe every coin as honestly as we can. Coins are collectible items and may show age or wear consistent with their grade. If anything is unclear before you buy, just ask.

Delivery, title and risk

Shipping options, costs and timeframes are set out on our Shipping page. Title and risk in the goods pass to you on delivery.

Returns

Returns and refunds are covered on our Returns & Refunds page, including your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Consumer guarantees

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you order is the one that applies.
